Mesics Metabol Pro – Uric Acid Control Solution, 2 × 2.5 ml
The Mesics Metabol Pro uric acid control solution is designed for quality control of uric acid measurements performed with the Mesics Metabol Pro. It enables verification that the measuring device, test strips, and measurement process are functioning correctly.
The set contains two control solutions with different concentration levels. This allows the correct operation of the measurement system to be checked at two control levels.
Reliable Quality Control
The control solutions contain defined uric acid concentrations. When used with a compatible Mesics Metabol Pro uric acid test strip, the uric acid reacts with the reagents in the test strip.
The measured value can then be compared with the batch-specific control range. This allows you to verify whether the measurement system is operating within the specified tolerances.
The control solution is particularly suitable for:
- Regular quality control
- Checking the measuring device and test strips
- Checking new test strip batches
- Troubleshooting unusual or unexpected measurement results
Easy to Use
The control solution should be shaken thoroughly before use. It is then applied to the corresponding uric acid test strip as described in the instructions for use.
The control measurement is intended exclusively for functional and quality control of the measurement system.
Storage and Shelf Life
The control solutions should be stored at 2–32 °C. The shelf life is 12 months when unopened. Once opened, the solutions can be used for 3 months or until the printed expiration date, whichever comes first.
The control ranges are batch-specific and must not be transferred to other batches.
