The Cefar TENS by Chattanooga is a compact and versatile TENS and NMES electrotherapy device designed for applications in pain management and rehabilitation. With 2 independently controllable channels, 10 preset programs and 5 individually programmable programs, the device offers flexible options for different therapeutic requirements.

Thanks to the 1+1 function, both channels can be controlled independently, allowing two different programs to be used simultaneously – for example, TENS for pain management and NMES for muscle stimulation.

TENS – Pain Management

The TENS programs are designed for various applications in pain management. The Cefar TENS offers different stimulation modes, including conventional TENS, Burst TENS, modulated programs, Flow TENS and low-frequency stimulation.

The preset programs include, among others, Gate Control, Burst, Han stimulation, Neuromodulation, Flow TENS and Endorphinic TENS.

NMES – Muscle Stimulation

The integrated NMES program enables electrical muscle stimulation and can be used as part of various rehabilitation goals, including:

• Muscle activation and muscle re-education

• Maintaining or improving range of motion

• Delaying inactivity-related muscle atrophy

• Relaxation of muscle spasms

• Supporting local blood circulation

Programs & Individual Settings

The Cefar TENS features 10 preset programs and 5 programmable memory slots. The individual programs allow various stimulation parameters to be adapted to the specific application.

The 1+1 function enables independent use of both channels, allowing different stimulation programs to be combined within the same treatment session.

Comfortable Use

The backlit display provides good visibility of the settings. The reversible belt clip can be rotated 180° and allows flexible cable routing. The device can also be worn using the included neck strap.

The integrated lithium-polymer battery can be fully charged in less than 90 minutes and provides approximately 6–10 hours of operating time, depending on the application.

Acupuncture Mode

The dedicated acupuncture mode allows the device to be used with acupuncture needles for electroacupuncture. This mode is intended exclusively for appropriately qualified healthcare professionals. Acupuncture needles are not included in the scope of delivery.
