Contraindications:

The INTELECT® MOBILE 2 STIM must not be used under the following conditions:

• For local pain treatment without a diagnosed cause or condition

• In areas with known or suspected cancerous lesions

• On infected, swollen, or inflamed skin areas (e.g., phlebitis, varicose veins)

• In cases of fever or infectious diseases

• Near the carotid sinus (front of the neck) or for transcranial applications

• During pregnancy (safety of therapeutic electrical stimulation during pregnancy has not been established)

• In patients with implantable electronic devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs)

• In patients using portable electromechanical medical devices (e.g., insulin pumps)

• In MRI or CT environments – the device and its components must not be brought into such environments

• For transthoracic stimulation (across the chest), as it may lead to cardiac arrhythmias

• In the mouth or anterior neck area due to the risk of airway constriction from muscle spasms
