Mesics Metabol Pro uric acid test strips are the original consumables designed for use with the Mesics Metabol Pro 5-in-1 blood analysis system. They enable fast and quantitative measurement of uric acid concentration from capillary or venous whole blood.

Only 1.5 µl of blood is required for each measurement, and the result is available after approximately 10 seconds. The measurement range is 181–1,000 µmol/L.

Fast Uric Acid Measurement

The test strips use an electrochemical measurement method based on uricase and ascorbate oxidase. This enables fast determination of uric acid concentration using a small sample volume.

The test strips are intended for professional uric acid measurement and monitoring of uric acid concentration.

Storage and Shelf Life

The test strips should be stored at 4–30 °C in a dry place and protected from light and moisture. The shelf life is 12 months when unopened. Once opened, the test strips should be used within 3 months and must not be used beyond the printed expiration date.
