Mesics Lactate Express – Lactate Control Solution, 2 × 2.5 ml LOW + HIGH

The Mesics Lactate Express lactate control solution is used for quality control of the Lactate Express measuring device and the corresponding lactate test strips. It enables verification of the measurement function and helps identify implausible measurement results or potential issues with the test strips.

The set contains two control solutions with different concentration ranges: LOW at 3.5–5.9 mmol/L and HIGH at 14.5–18.9 mmol/L.

Application

Before use, shake the control solution vigorously for approximately 10 seconds. The measurement is performed in the QC (quality control) mode of the Lactate Express.

After discarding the first drop, place another drop of the control solution onto a clean surface and apply it to the test strip. Do not allow the dropper tip to come into direct contact with the test strip to avoid contamination.

Note: Once opened, the control solutions have a shelf life of approximately 3 months. The control solutions are intended exclusively for use with the Mesics Lactate Express and the corresponding lactate test strips.
