5-in-1 Blood Analysis System Including Test Strips and Accessories
The Mesics Metabol Pro Starter Kit combines the compact 5-in-1 blood analysis system with a comprehensive set of accessories for getting started with blood testing right away. In addition to the measuring device, the kit includes 50 lancets, 50 alcohol swabs, and 10 test strips each for lactate, uric acid, total cholesterol, glucose, and β-ketones.
The Metabol Pro enables the rapid measurement of lactate, glucose, β-ketones, uric acid, and total cholesterol. Measurements are performed using electrochemical biosensor technology and require only 0.8–1.7 µl of blood, depending on the parameter.
Five Blood Parameters with One Measuring Device
The Metabol Pro can measure five important blood parameters:
- Lactate – for training and performance diagnostics
- Glucose – for measuring blood glucose levels
- β-Ketones – for measuring β-hydroxybutyrate
- Uric acid – for quantitative measurement of uric acid levels
- Total cholesterol – for measuring total cholesterol
Depending on the measurement parameter, results are available within just a few seconds. This makes the system particularly convenient for on-site measurements.
Fast Measurement with a Small Blood Sample
Depending on the parameter, only 0.8–1.7 µl of blood is required for each measurement. Measurement times range from approximately 5 to 22 seconds.
The Metabol Pro can be used with capillary blood from the fingertip as well as venous whole blood. The device can store up to 7,000 data records.
For Performance Diagnostics, Sports, and Health Monitoring
The Starter Kit is suitable for coaches, athletes, performance diagnostics, sports science, and health monitoring. The lactate measurement function in particular enables direct assessment of the individual response to physical exertion during training and performance diagnostics.
