5-in-1 Blood Analysis System for Performance Diagnostics and Health Monitoring

The Mesics Metabol Pro is a compact 5-in-1 blood analysis system for the rapid measurement of lactate, glucose, β-ketones, uric acid, and total cholesterol. Its electrochemical biosensor technology enables analysis of fresh capillary blood from the fingertip or venous whole blood directly on site, without the need for time-consuming laboratory analysis.

Depending on the measurement parameter, results are available within just a few seconds. This makes the Metabol Pro suitable for performance diagnostics, sports science, training, medical facilities, and preventive health monitoring—wherever reliable blood values need to be available quickly.

Measure Five Important Blood Parameters with One Device

The Metabol Pro combines five measurement functions in one compact analysis device:

• Lactate (LAC) – for assessing the individual response to physical exertion and for lactate measurements as part of performance diagnostics
• Glucose (GLU) – for quantitative blood glucose measurement
• β-Ketones (KET) – for measuring β-hydroxybutyrate in the blood
• Uric Acid (UA) – for quantitative measurement of uric acid concentration
• Total Cholesterol (TC) – for measuring total cholesterol

By combining multiple measurement parameters, the device provides a versatile solution for applications where metabolic and performance data need to be collected directly on site.

Fast Blood Testing with a Small Sample Volume

Depending on the parameter, the Metabol Pro requires only 0.8–1.7 µl of blood. Lactate, glucose, and β-ketone measurements require just 0.8 µl, while uric acid requires 1.5 µl and total cholesterol requires 1.7 µl.

The measurement times are also designed for fast and convenient use:

• Glucose: approx. 5 seconds
• Lactate: approx. 10 seconds
• β-Ketones: approx. 10 seconds
• Uric acid: approx. 10 seconds
• Total cholesterol: approx. 22 seconds

This allows blood values to be measured immediately during an examination, performance test, or health check.

Ideal for Performance Diagnostics and Sports

The lactate measurement function makes the Metabol Pro particularly useful for sports science and performance diagnostics. Blood lactate can, for example, be measured during step tests and used to assess the individual's response to physical exertion.

The additional measurement of glucose and β-ketones provides further metabolic parameters. This enables versatile data collection during training, performance diagnostics, and sports science assessments.

Compact, Portable, and Designed for On-Site Use

With dimensions of approximately 66 × 119 × 20 mm, the Metabol Pro is compact and suitable for mobile use. Measurements can be performed directly where the data is needed—for example, at a training facility, in a medical practice, or as part of workplace health assessments.

The device can store up to 7,000 data records, allowing extensive measurement series to be documented even with regular use. The automatic test strip ejection also makes handling easier after each measurement.

Electrochemical Biosensor Technology

The Metabol Pro uses electrochemical biosensor technology. Depending on the test parameter, specially developed test strips are used and optimized for the respective blood measurement.

The corresponding test strips are specifically designed for the Metabol Pro. Separate test strips are available for lactate, glucose, β-ketones, uric acid, and total cholesterol.
